I design exclusive pattern collections for high-end apparel and home decor manufacturers looking for a particular take on current trends.
I am a passionate textile designer currently living in Toledo, Ohio. I grew up in Colombia, where I obtained my bachelor degree in Textile Design from the Universidad de los Andes. Later, I attended the Istituto dell’abbigliamento Marangoni in Milan, Italy, where I obtained my diploma in Fashion Design. More currently, I am pursuing my Masters Degree in Art Education from the University of Toledo.
After returning home form Italy, I worked as a textile coordinator for a textile manufacturer, creating print collections for the apparel market. On the side, I started teaching a design class at the Universidad de Los Andes, which in time developed into three different courses that involved fashion design and different drawing classes.
After raising two small children and moving permanently to the USA, it was time for me to go back to fabrics and design. I enrolled in courses on drawing, digital design, computers, trend research and pattern design.
I have been freelancing for different print studios for over four years; supplying patterns for the high-end apparel market, and more recently for the home decor and paper goods market.
My sources of inspiration vary from following major fashion trends to different art expressions from other cultures found in my trips abroad, to a playful game with basic geometric shapes and a fascination with nature.
I design unique patterns to enhance the beauty of garments and home decor products, I like engaging in new projects and would love to help your business succeed with my patterns on your products!
The patterns found on this website are available for sale. I am also available for any commission work or licensing opportunity.
